LENAWEE COUNTY, MI – Two high-value muscle cars were stolen early Monday morning from the showroom of a car dealership near Adrian.

Police were called at 3:53 a.m. March 11 to the CR Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM dealership at 1211 E. U.S. 223 Highway, south of Adrian, for a reported vehicle theft, according to the Michigan State Police.

Thieves broke into the dealership, police reported.

The preliminary investigation showed three suspects entering the dealership and stealing a silver Dodge Charger Scat Pack and a baby blue Dodge Charger Scat Pack from the showroom floor and then fleeing the area in the two vehicles, police said.

Fair-market price of the model new is about $51,000, according to Kelley Blue Book.

Investigators are currently reviewing security video from the dealership and the surrounding area in an effort to identify possible suspects and have written search warrants on several investigative leads, police said.

The theft remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the vehicle thefts are asked to contact Trooper Benjamin Lambrix at 734-242-3500.
