Multiple suspects arrested on car theft related charges – WTOL

One of the suspects was found in a dumpster at Aldi Food.

ADRIAN, Mich. — Two people were arrested and police are still looking for two others after they were spotted wearing ski masks in a car dealership parking lot early on Thursday morning.

Michigan State Police say four people were observed by troopers in the parking lot of CR Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram on U.S. 223 in Adrian at 1:20 a.m.

The Michigan State Police say the four suspects fled on foot.

One was arrested in the dumpster at Aldi Foods. Another was arrested after attempting to leave the city after a traffic stop was conducted, according to a press release.

Both the suspects who were arrested were taken to the Lenawee County Jail for multiple charges related to Motor Vehicle Theft and Resisting and Obstructing.

Two other suspects managed to escape capture.

According to Michigan State Police the incident is believed to be in connection with a vehicle theft that happened at the same car lot on Monday.
