YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two fires that happened overnight in Youngstown are believed to be suspicious.

At around 2:30 a.m., crews were called to the 1600 block of McGuffey Road for a fire at LLL Auto Sales LLC. There were cars inside that caught fire.

Crews had also been there Tuesday night for a fire.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the battalion chief.

Fire Investigator Charles Hodge said that fire, and another fire later at a vacant house in the 700 block of Broadway Avenue, are considered to be suspicious, however. Crews were called to Broadway Avenue around 4 a.m.

Hodge did not say whether the fires are believed to be connected, but he said some evidence from the State Fire Marshal’s Office was sent to be tested.

The scene on Broadway Avenue is also expected to be examined.

Both fires are total losses.

Brian Oehlbeck and Joe Gorman contributed to this report.
