New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson has finalized the purchase of several car dealerships across the area. On Tuesday, Benson issued a news release announcing that she has acquired three dealerships and three collision centers across both Mississippi and Louisiana. Benson now owns Mercedes-Benz of South Mississippi, Porsche New Orleans, Volkswagen of Mississippi, Infiniti of South Mississippi and three premier collision centers.She already owns includes Mercedes-Benz of New Orleans, Mercedes-Benz Van Center, Best Chevrolet and Cadillac of New Orleans. Benson said in a news release that the acquisition is ushering in a new era of excellence and will expand sales and service in the Gulf South Region. She now employs more than 500 people through the acquisition. “I am grateful to have this opportunity to welcome Mercedes-Benz of South Mississippi, Porsche New Orleans, Volkswagen of Mississippi, Infiniti of South Mississippi and our valued collision centers into our family of automotive enterprises,” Benson said in the issued news release. “These acquisitions align with our vision of delivering exceptional products and services while making a positive impact on the communities we serve. We look forward to building upon the strong foundations established by Ray Brandt and further elevate these businesses to new heights of success.”
